This summer, we welcomed our first intern, Elena Pérez! Elena is a rising junior from Clark University studying Economics and Entrepreneurship in the Clark University School of Management. She is also part of Clark’s squash team and Latinx student organization.
This summer, she worked as our Digital Marketing Strategist intern, where she worked to craft social media posts, create email lists, and drive strategic growth for the company. Throughout this internship, she immersed herself in the construction industry, specifically in the New England region. At the end of her internship, she presented her strategies to Mike Cocuzzo, President and CEO of Cocuzzo Enterprises, who was highly impressed by her work.
Elena was excited to work with our team. She exclaimed:
“This summer I had an opportunity to intern with Cocuzzo Enterprises. It was a great experience in which I developed my business management and marketing skills. I was able to put theory to practice and work in a fast-paced work environment and learn from talented professionals. The most important takeaway from this experience is how to be entrepreneurial and self-directing with my time and effort.”
Mike Cocuzzo also reiterated the good work Elena performed this summer:
“I was impressed by Elena’s hard work and efforts this summer. She was extremely professional and provided core recommendations that we want to pursue to further grow our business. We appreciate her help and wish her the best for the school year.”
